With over 75,000,000 homes that need energy upgrades in this country there’s no shortage of work to be done. The concept for new homes can be applied to these homes as well, the whole house as a system approach. The goal is to stop moisture flow, seal gaps and holes, introduce fresh air, upgrade windows and doors, upgrade insulation, and upgrade HVAC equipment. There’s nothing to say you have to do all these things at once. But there’sno need to upgrade insulation before you stop air loss. All items need to tackled in the right order. There are many tax credits and rebates available now for these upgrades. We are launching a new company to address these needs.
